District meeting where the 3 assistants showed up and the zone leaders for Elder Chavez' first district meeting as a district leader after special changes. No pressure with 5 extra in attendance. He did "amazing" and "nailed it"... were the reports we got back. So proud of all our missionaries and the part each one plays in making this the BEST mission in the World!
Saturday and Sunday in Molango with these great missionaries as we wrapped up the Molango Branch Conference.

......También tenemos varios bautismos para estas
próximas semanas. Uno de ellos se llama Porfirio; él fumaba 10 hasta 15
cigarros al día antes de conocer el evangelio. Le enseñamos la Palabra de
Sabiduría, y en los dos días siguientes, fumó solo uno. Le felicitamos por su
progreso, pero le dijimos que tuvimos que mover su fecha bautismal y que tenía
que ir un mes sin fumar para poder bautizarse. Desde ese día no ha fumado ni un
cigarro. Es asombroso como el Evangelio puede cambiar la vida de una persona así.
Está súper animado para su bautismo el 28 de Mayo; ya ha ido al templo,
participa en las clases, paga su diezmo y ¡llega a la capilla en traje! ¡Los
miembros ya creían que él era miembro! Nos pidió que los dos estuviéramos en su
bautismo, pero le dijimos que no le pudimos prometer nada por los cambios en la
próxima semana. Estaba un poco desanimado al escuchar eso, pero creo que eso le
va a ayudar a convertirse un poco más al evangelio y no a nosotros.

......Pero para no hacerla muy larga,
este sábado recordé uno de los motivos por los cuales me esfuerzo.... Dariana,
Samantha y Jesús (de la Familia San Juan de la que les conté hace unas semanas)
Ellos decidieron seguir el ejemplo de Jesucristo y tomar un bautismo, el
Primero desde la división del Barrio! Es una familia super buena! y muy grande, y la manera
en que la encontramos, decimos que fue pura revelación; Puesto que los 2
sentimos que debíamos contactar a una señora de la tienda, ella nos rechazo,
pero nos dio su dirección para otro día, (una dirección falsa, creemos)...
Mientras nos perdíamos buscando esa casa, un señor (miembro) nos preguntó ¿A
quién buscan? ya después de darnos mas o menos una idea el nos pidió una
bendición!! Nos volteamos a ver y le respondimos: Claro!! de toda la familia
varios son miembros, otros no, y muchos aún no tienen edad! pero todos son muy
buenos, En verdad quiero tanto a esta Familia! Dariana, Samantha y Jesús son
unos campeones!! les aprecio tanto pues están tan dispuestos a recibir el
evangelio....

.......Al principio de la conferencia de zona yo estaba
poniendo atención solamente a lo que nos enseñó, pero al final de la
conferencia, empecé a poner más atención a cómo nos enseñó. Aprendí mucho, pero
para mi lo más importante que aprendí es que usted siempre tiene mucha
paciencia cuando enseña. Muchas veces cuando enseño siento, siento la necesidad
de hablar rápido para que terminemos en menos que 45 minutos, pero me dí cuenta
que puedo enseñar más rápido y con más claridad si tomo tiempo para pensar en
lo que voy a decir y hablo más lento para que las personas me entiendan. Vi que
cuando usted enseña, usted habla lento y con una claridad que invita el
espíritu. Más que solo esto, usted nunca contesta una pregunta rápidamente.
Siempre toma el tiempo para verificar que usted entendió la pregunta y también
toma tiempo para pensar en su respuesta. Esta semana me esforzaré por tener más
paciencia en todo. Siento que es un atributo de Cristo que puedo desarrollar
para enseñar más eficazmente, para tener mejores relaciones con mis compañeros,
y para tener el espíritu conmigo siempre.....

.....Juan Castañeda se bautizó esta semana. ¡Que
bendición! Fue nuestro primer día aquí, y no tuvimos ninunga cita y solo
estabamos camine y camine..cuando de repente, vimos a un joven jugando
basquetbol. Me encante basquetbol! Entonces fuimos y jugamos con el por unos 10
minutos, y despues fuimos a la sombra y nos sentamos para enseñarle. Era
drogadicto y a penas estaba alejandose de todo eso. El campo blanca esta ya
para la siega Presidente. Aceptó una fecha con alegría - escuchar que había
esperanza para el y que el podía estar bien con Dios fue algo que no podía
negar. Ahora estamos preparando para el sacerdocio, el templo, y la misión. Yo
estoy convencido, que el Señor me permitió jugar, practicar, y competer en
basquetbol toda mi vida, para que un día en pachuca hidalgo me llamara la
atención un joven. El valor de las almas es grande a la vista de Dios.....

A memory that I will never forget...
3 more randomly called on to share their prepared talks. All prepared so perfectly.
Hermana Egbert's talk in Spanish was survivable only because of the great participation of the missionaries that shared their inner most feelings, experiences, and brought the spirit so perfectly.
So grateful for President Egbert translating for me when I need to share my tender feelings and testimony. This part I can't write down...
Though this doesn't look like artistic talent shining through... it really did make sense.
President finished the zone conferences with his testimony.

.....Oh presidente con mi compañera y yo fuimos a buscar
a una persona (las que contactamos en la calle y nos dan sus direccion) y nos
dijieron que no estaban, salieron sus papás pero nos dijieron pasen, nosotros
las escuchamos y pasamo y que cree, era una congresacion, una llamada
evangelistas del septimo dia, ahi habia como de 20 a 30 personas y nos sentamos
en una mesa redonda y comenzamos a enseñar sobre la RESTAURACION, oh fue tan
pero tan fuerte ese momento que nos sentiamos como Aaron y Ammon, no salimos de
ahi si no antes poder enseñar sobre la restauracion, nos trataban de
contradecir pero no lo lograron compartimos nuestros testimonio. Ahora puedo
saber lo que los profetas sentian cuando nadien hacia caso de sus palabras,
pero ese momento solo recuerdo que escuchaba TESTIFICA y eso hice, fue una
experencia particular en la cual mi testimonio se fortalecio mas y mas!

Tulancingo ZONE
We did look 10 years younger just 3 years ago.....

.....yesterday while visiting a sister called Mary is
about 80 years old and want to progress, after giving a lesson in which we feel
the spirit, we asked, "Who do you think is going a challenge we can visit
known?" That it was not that specific question and she said, because many
people, then came back to ask, sister you have children right? and he said yes,
where his children live so we can visit them she gave us the name of his two
sons and address, and left the lesson, immediately seek his son named Daniel as
40 years, in fact the man was was preparing to Daniel greeted with enthusiasm,
the holy spirit inspired us to ask a few questions, the lesson became powerful,
when we told them that his family could be eternal, we asked her brother what
is your greatest fear, and he said leave my family , we talk more about the
subject, and ended with a prayer, we ask Daniel do, with tears said:
"FATHER TAKES CARE oF MY CHILDREN" we learned to ask questions to
receive more referrals, as you say, "out of the box" , ie seeking
revelation, and when we seek to receive. President thanks for his teachings
really helped me and will help me and I know it's not just this time but as
always but uthdorf Elder says eternity compose nows.....

... until I share my feelings of how much I love these "kids" of ours, how much confidence I have in their ability to help President/Hermana Kimball in the transition, and how I trust that they will be obedient with exactness and focused on the work.
They love it when President gets down to business...
and when we teach together we really make the point!
They don't get any cuter... and any more diligent!

Hola presidente esta semana fue buena a pesar que desde
el domingo empezaron a caer las citas y no terminamos con muchas pero me quede
pensando toda esta semana en cada una de las palabras que usted nos dijo en la
conferencia de como gracias a que nosotros cumpliéramos con cada uno de los
compromisos que firmamos en esa carta, recordé antes de venir a la misión 8
meses atrás me ponía a pensar como seria mi vida sirviendo 2 años en la misión
y lo que pensaba es muy diferente a lo que ahora estoy viviendo siempre me hice
esa pregunta como sería y ahora que lo vivo se que es mejor que como me lo
imaginaba, pero esta semana me puse a pensar como sería mi vida después de la
misión al aplicar cada uno de los compromisos de esa carta y mientras estaba
acostado el día miércoles en la noche sentí que alguien me decía ni te esperas
lo que vendrá si tu no cumples alguno de esos compromisos olvídate de las
bendiciones y claramente es así muchos de los Elderes que regresan a mi casa
dejan de vivir el evangelio pero comprendí que el vivir el evangelio entra en
el perseverar hasta el fin y si nosotros enseñamos eso a los investigadores
conversos recientes y menos activos tenemos que vivir lo no solo en este tiempo
si no por el resto de nuestras vidas y de igual manera recordé lo que un amigo
me dijo antes de mi misión: TEN MUCHO CUIDADO CON TODO LOS COMPROMISOS QUE TU
DEJES A LOS INVESTIGADORES MENOS ACTIVOS CONVERSOS RECIENTES POR QUE SI TU
CUANDO REGRESAS A TU CASA DESPUÉS DE SERVIR EN UNA MISIÓN SI NO CUMPLES TU CON
ESO Y NO VIVES EL EVANGELIO VAS A ESTAS EN DONDE NO TE GUSTARÍA ESTAR. Así que
eso fue lo que aprendí esta semana y no solo lo aplicare a mi si no también
ayudare a todas lasa personas a vivir este evangelio tan hermoso...

So when I got the true story of the trimming shears.... the neighbors complained the tree in front of the assistants house was out of control!
So leave it to these Elders to take care of the problem!
Looking great... you should open a lawn care business when you get home!

Hermana Kelsee Snyder home with her family and sends her love and greetings to all the missionaries in Mision Mexico Pachuca. She can't believe that one cycle is already gone by.... I think she would come back tomorrow if they would let her!
