....He sido muy bendecido recientemente. Por la primera vez en mi misión tenemos investigadores progresando que encontramos por medio de contactar en las calles. Siempre me ha gustado tener "cosas mías," que es decir las cosas que personas usan para identificarme. Recientemente tomé la decisión de tener obediencia como una de las "cosas mías." Ya todos me conocen en mi área como el misionero obediente. A mi,me encanta que me dicen esto, pero quiero mejorar. No quiero ser solamente obediente, sino quiero hacer la voluntad de Dios. Es decir ser obediente y seguir los susurros del espíritu santo. Me dí cuenta que ser obediente es algo básico que simplemente debemos hacer si queremos un poco de éxito. Básicamente ser obediente es la base, seguir el espíritu es como construimos sobre este fundamento de obediencia para hacer la voluntad de Dios......

When missionaries are being obedient, diligent and focused they are blessed. I need to acknowledge Elder England (left) who in the last 15 weeks, in an area new to him has baptized 10 new members and helped refocus the vision of two companions that have served with him.

Never question why the Lord sends a missionary to a specific area.... it's all part of His plan.

.....Esta semana contactamos a una hermana en el camino y ella se dedica a hacer tabiques, ella hace la mezcla con arena, barro, y otra cosa que no recuerdo el nombre y luego la revolvía con sus pies, es un trabajo muy pesado y mi compañera se ofrecio a ayudar para que ella pudiera terminar su trabajo mas temprano y llegar mas temprano a casa con su familia, ella acepto pero menciono que le daba algo de pena que le ayudaramos a hacer ese clase de trabajo pero fue una gran experiencia tal vez no fue mucho lo que ayudamos porque ella trabaja desde las 6:00 am hasta las 7:00, pero me senti muy bien por haber ayudado, en realidad jamas habia visto a una mujer haciendo un trabajo tan pesado y tampoco imgine que yo algun dia ayudaria a alguien a revolver la mezcla de los tambiques con mis pies, ella acepto que le visitaramos y vamos a ir a buscarla para enseñara el evangelio a ella y a su familia....

"Feliz Semana Todos"

Mondays in the office this week consisted of "mail" pick up, Final Language Exams, and Special Interviews.

Someone got a birthday box in their zone.

.....Este semana aprendi algo de la obidencia tambien. Estaba muy cansado un dia. por mucho tiemo hacia la programa de ejercici que nos envio hace unas meses pero hace poco habia empezado a solo hacer flexiones, push ups, y yoga y cosas asi. Haciendo ejercicios pero solo para hacerlo y no ser disobediente. Sentì de que tenia que cambiar esto. Hice un compromiso de hacer la riutina otra vez y hoy senti orta vez con mas energia. Es tan simple! Nos justificamos o dejamos de esforzarnos un poco y luego perdemos bendiciones. Estoy agradecido que el Señor me corige y ayuda a ser mejor dia por dia. Yo me voy a seguir esforzando para confiar en el Señor y basar mi fuerza en el y no en mi mismo.....

Buenas tardes Presidente
Estoy agradecido presidente por lo que nos enseño el miércoles sobre la excelencia eso provoco que volviera a estudiar el 4 misionero y por un momento paso por mi mente que yo estaba haciendo todo bien y de inmediato supe que no era el espíritu quien me susurraba eso y me pude la tarea de estudiar el 4 misionero y me di cuenta que deje de hacer muchas cosas y en una de mi oraciones le pedí a nuestro padre celestial que me ayudara a saber las cosas que podía mejorar , al día siguiente tuvimos divisiones con un joven del barrio de mixquiahuala que se llama Jesús el fue con migo casi todo el día pero para que pueda entenderme mejor quiero describirle como es Jesus .
Jesus es un joven con una dificultada el cojea para caminar y arrastra su pie el no puede hablar bien y no sabe leer el se bautizo hace 3 años . Cunado el se ofreció para acompañarnos creí que no era una buena idea pero al final no quedo ningún recurso mas que jesus, al día siguiente jesus ya estaba listo con su corbata ,se corto el pelo,la barba y tenia los zapatos lustrados durante el todo el día pude llegar a obtener la respuesta que le hice a mi Padre Celestial ¿QUE PODÍA MEJORAR ? al ver a jesus pude darme cuenta que lo que había dejado de hacer es tener un corazón sumiso,humilde y con un verdadero deseo de servir
y esta semana estaré trabajando con metas especificas para cambiar .

Elder Martinez (right) took his final exam and I thought was on the edge of a nervous breakdown. I didn't realize he has had only one English Speaking Companion during his entire mission service. Well, he did great and all that worry was for nothing.

Also his great companion Elder Garcia got word that his mom delivered his new baby sister this last weekend. He showed me beautiful pictures of her and was quite emotional talking about his family. A tender moment.

Headed out the door to go work.... I dropped off the mission vacuum for them to use.

These two borrowed the vacuum as well and all seemed well in Revolucion II.

Checked on these two cuties and they are working like a team of horses!

Watch out "Real de Minas".... these two are on fire!

Dear President Egbert.

This week I learn, recognize and understanding 3 specifics thing....

1) I learning about the excelence, that is necessary for obtain a really and constant change, because if we be a comformist with a little progress we cant obtain the progress that with our potential can obtail.

2) I recognize the progress that i can obtain in this time. for one a rasson in the past recognize my progress was apparently impossible. i consider me a bad missionary because every sisters of my generation have a asignation but i not,this injure me heart in the past but now no more. I can recognize that with asignation or not i obtain big change in my heart and in my nature, and i so happy for this.

3)I can understand... que para encontrar nuestra vida real, necesitamos, olvidar quien fuimos, olvidar que haciamos, que os gustaba, que queríamos, que queremos ahora, que queremos para cuando regresemos, olvidar por completo cada fibra de nosotros mismos y minuto a minuto, día a día regresarle nuestra vida a Él, nuestro dador absoluto, la constancia es algo que ayuda a eso, es algo que es parte de ésta vida, eso es algo que muchas veces cómo seres humanos nos cuesta más trabajo, por que implica olvidarnos de nosotros mismos, implica un esfuerzo más de lo que aparentemente podemos.

Though I didn't get a sample... it really does look delicious.

You know the missionaries are your "kids" when they call and need money cause their ATM card won't work. Successful trip into Pachuca to see a specialist.

Thanks for changing your P-Day til Tuesday Elders!

We took a couple of hours on Tuesday and had lunch with the great office secretaries who made this day extra special. They even paid for it all!

Thank you for your love, work and dedication in Mision Mexico Pachuca.

You will be eternal friends and family to us.

......Estoy esforzandome mas para prepararme mentalmente y espiritualmente para cada oportunidad de enseñar. Hice una hoja que está en mi agenda que está dividida en 2 secciones. 1) Antes de la Enseñanza, y 2) Después de la enseñanza. Antes la cita, me estoy preguntando, ¿Qué quiero que esta persona sienta, sepa, y haga después de la cita? ¿Cuales son sus necesidades? ¿Cuales son las escrituras e historias que voy a ocupar? y por último, ¿Cuales son los compromisos que voy a dejar? Después de la enseñanza utilizo la sección "evalué su enseñanza" que viene en PME capítulo 2. ¿Hice preguntas eficaces? ¿ Compartí escrituras y mi testimonio? ¿Fueron claras las invitaciones? ¿Tienen dudas ellos acerca de la espera el Señor de ellos? Me esta ayudando esta evaluación constante.....

.....me siento grandemente bendecida estar en esta área. Amo a las personas de T. También tenia la oportunidad de tener intercambios con la Hermana C, y la verdad es que nunca he visto a alguien que es tan obediente en relación con el tiempo. Salimos de cada casa después de exactamente 45 minutos (usando un timer que tiene en su reloj), y sentí el espíritu tan fuertemente todo el día. Esta es la bendición de la obediencia con exactitud. No pensé que 2 o 3 minutos hacen una diferencia, pero puedo testificar que somos bendecidas en todo cuando seguimos las reglas con toda energía. Mi compañera y yo, estamos haciendo los cambios necesarios para ser realmente obedientes con exactitud. Gracias por su apoyo y su amor.

We have great current leaders in the mission and future leaders pictured here. Also some great newer missionaries that will be asked to do a lot to move this work forward in the next several years! We sure love these missionaries...

Many have risen to the occasion of their assignments- while others are working hard to step up to the expectations. Proud of them!

This is a great time to see old companions or members from previous districts and zones that haven't crossed paths for quite some time.

The Elders love having "Grandma's in the mission"... they add such a special stability, unconditional love and support. Gracias Hermanas....

...... le amo tanto que me motiva cada día a ser una mejor misionera y cada día esforzarme por encontrar a esas personas que el señor ha preparado estoy muy feliz pues quiero decirle que en esta semana me esforzado por seguir recordando el convenio que hice con mi padre celestial y estoy viendo una gran diferencia puede decirle que no estoy perdiendo el tiempo y se que realmente ser una misionera cambia vidas lo a hecho con migo puedo sentir amor verdadero por las personas y ahora ya no tengo temor en contactar simplemente lo hago y comparto mi testimonio con las personas y eso hace la diferencia.En esta semana durante la capacitación de zona sentí el espíritu tan fuerte y pude sentir de nuevo en mi corazón que esta es la obra del señor y que este es el tiempo en el cual podre cambiar a muchas personas y llevarlas a la verdad no si si los demás misioneros y hermanas se dieron cuenta pero sentí otra vez el espíritu tan fuerte durante el ultimo himno y la oración las lagrimas escurrían de mis ojos y realmente se que es verdad y cada día me esfuerzo por no perder el timo del señor y lo ocupo en encontrar a personas que están siendo preparadas por el en este tiempo gracias por todo lo que me ha enseñando les amo con todo mi corazón....

Saturday Mini Reunion with returned missionaries.

We were so overwhelmed with the emotion we felt when we were able to see these returned missionaries. It feels a lot different when you are not responsible for them on a daily basis. So proud of their efforts in setting goals and being productive individuals. Most are serving in significant callings in their wards and stakes! We couldn't be prouder. Also we were able to meet many of their new spouses, fiances, parents, siblings, and friends who accompanied them to Pachuca.

We had a few hours of mingling and getting reacquainted, then had a BBQ and closed with a small formal gathering where each missionary shared briefly an update. We closed kneeling in a "family prayer". We had several that traveled from the United States here on mini vacations, and several of the missionaries made great sacrifices in time and resources to travel back to Pachuca from different areas of Mexico.

What wonderful young men and women they are-

We seriously love EACH ONE so much.

Newlyweds... sealed in the Vera Cruz temple this week.

8 Members of Hermana Colby's family came with her to Mexico on a vacation and also traveled to VeraCruz for the sealing of one of her companions. So sweet to meet part of the Colby family!

The assistants have PDay on Saturday so they joined us for the BBQ too!

Love these great Elders who introduced themselves and bore great testimonies of His work.

Nope - they are NOT cousins! (wink wink)
