24 August 2014

"There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results."

Kenneth Blanchard

This quote above always makes me contemplate my level of commitment as a member of this church and reminds me often of the obligations I have to serve; and the blessings Heavenly Father so generously bestows upon our family. Feeling blessed-

"So this is how we roll in the Mexico Pachuca Mission"

Our amazing missionaries are so brave and becoming so confident in their role as a missionary and representative of the Lord Jesus Christ. They get up in buses, combis (little mini vans) and speak up in taxis on every occasion to share their message. They sing and bare testimony and most often start/end their message with a prayer. We are seeing huge success, when they do their part they obligate the Lord to do his part in helping them find investigators. So proud of our missionaries!

Now is the time to be BOLD... are you doing your part?

"If you do not magnify your calling, God will hold you responsible for those you might have saved - had you done your duty."

President John Taylor

"Do one act of kindness each day of the year and change 365 lives". "If it is to be, it is up to me."

Headed out to do service... looking cool in our shades for a "selfie"- but in reality doing service just feels good!

At the chapel re-dedication in Actopan... our missionaries were so impressed with the beauty of the remodeled building and feeling blessed to have a place to worship after so many months without access to the church.

Zone Conference 19th August 2014

 Valle Del Mezquital Zone

Tezontepec Zone

The assigned scripture for all the missionaries to study and have a prepared talk was from Mosiah 5:7  for this particular round of zone conferences. Birthdays this quarter received 2 pairs of new socks for the Elders and the Sisters a bottle of shampoo/box of chocolate. We had pizza/ green salad/soda and brownies for dessert after each conference.

We sure appreciate the Zone Leaders and Sister Leader Trainers participation

Zone Conference 21st August 2014

 Pachuca Centro Zone

 Tulancingo Zone

Elder/Hermana Cano our newest addition to the mission. Serving in the Apan area to help that branch grow and prosper. We are so appreciative of their willingness to serve and help us.

Look who stopped by to visit!

Sister Anna Diaz a recently returned missionary and her mother who were on a little vacation visiting the areas of her service.

"The only disability in life is a bad attitude"-

No bad attitude ever coming from Elder Clark! He and Elder Garza came to the office on their P-Day to resolve annual requirements for his VISA. Thank you Elders.

We love the members in Mexico who watch over our missionaries with such love and concern. This sweet sister in the "Heroes" ward lives next door to our missionaries and is always so willing to help- she is just like living next door to your mother. These Elders have been so lucky!

 "President- Can we keep him?"
