CELEBRATING MEXICO'S INDEPENDENCE DAY

THE ICING ON THE CAKE...
Each one with a unique story that the missionaries will talk about for the rest of their lives.

Querido Presidente Egbert,

Well this week has been pretty interesting to say the least. We started off Saturday morning with 33 lessons and, as luck would have it, my body decided to lose all energy and I felt horrible, but I made the decision to work at least until we met the standard of 40 lessons. As we were working we had a miracle happen, a man in our ward that has been going to church for 8 years but hasn´t been baptized told us that for the first time in his life, he wanted to recieve the 5 lessons from me and my companion and he accepted to prepare to be baptized on October 18th. I am so glad that I made the decision that I did, and like it says in Preach my Gospel, The best solutions to problems like that is work, work, work! Im sad that Elder B is leaving the area but I am super excited to keep on working here in Teotihuacan. The area and the ward are finally starting to wake up! When I arrived we had 1 investigators, and now we have had one baptism and we have found three families that want to be baptized plus a few others! I love this work and I hope that I can be a servant in the hands of the Lord during the next cycle to help these people follow the example Christ set for us! Thank you for everything and never forget that we all love you!

AND THE CYCLES KEEP GOING FASTER AND FASTER

- ARRIVAL OF 15  new missionaries
(Missing a few of their pictures)

READY FOR BUSINESS....
FACES OF CHANGE:

The sweet friendships that grow in companionship's are so amazing!
The good byes can be a little bit rough...

These two sweet sisters were new companions a day early and didn't come into the transfer meeting. Hrmn Garcia (left) cleaned, packed, and closed down her house and then  moved into another house with Hrmn Beltran and they are now new companions. Their previous companions I brought back into Pachuca for the night.

UNTIL NEXT TIME...

"Watch out Elder Ferrin... she works out every morning!"

These two great Elders didn't have a change in companionship so they were in charge of taxi's, luggage, and security. JOB WELL DONE!

ELDER LOPEZ HAD HIS FLIGHT CANCELED so I dropped him at the bus station at 5:30 am where he rode a bus all the way home. (Sorry Elder ....)

THESE TWO ELDERS HEADED FROM THE BUS STATION TO THE MEXICO CITY AIRPORT.... Leaving the Mission and returning home is just about to get REAL!

District Leader/Future Leader Training
(We were missing a few district leaders that were so far away or have their assignment figured out perfectly)
It was a two hour training in the mission home and then we had lunch.

FRIDAY- NEW MISSIONARY/TRAINER ORIENTATION

DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT THIS GROUP?

SPECIAL CHANGES FRIDAY AFTERNOON
During New Missionary Orientation I left to go pick up to sisters who brought all their belongings and are being moved permanently because of the need for a sister to return home. These missionaries are troopers and never complained as they packed up and traveled on short notice.
So the new companions are as pictured...

CHANGES ARE INEVITABLE-
Saturday Morning with the help of Elder Gomez (Office Secretary) and these two willing Elders we packed up, moved furniture and closed up the house in Real Del Monte area. Missionaries will no longer be serving in this area. The area is so beautiful, but because of circumstances outside our control this was the best area to pull missionaries out of.
And the blessing of being willing to serve at 0700 am was a surprise box from home for Elder Hazelgren!
Thanks MOM!

THANK YOU ELDERS FOR YOUR HELP THIS MORNING!
I COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOUR HELP...

BED TIME FACE CREAM IN HONOR OF MEXICO's INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION!

Our recently returned Elder Cruz traveled to Bolivia (15 hr bus ride) to attend the temple which is closest to their home in Peru. They used this as their vacation because of the time, expense, and distance.
What a great example of sacrifice...
