Presidente,
Este semana yo aprendí mucho. Estaba leyendo en Alma hace
unas semanas y habia una escritura que me llamó la attention mucho. El dice
"si al que se arrepiente y ejerce la fe y produce buenas obras y ora
continuamente sin cesar, a este le es premitido conocer los misterios de Dios;
si, a este le ser´r permitido revelar cosas que nunca han sido reveladas; si, y
a este le será concedido llevar a miles de almas al arrepentimiento, asi como a
nosotros se nos a permitido traer a estos nuestros hermanos hermanos al
arrepentimiento"(Alma 26:22). ME gusto mucho como el dice "condecido
a llevar" y "permitido a conocer" en este yo aprendi algo
importante en cuanto del exito de la mission. Creo que muchas veces pensamos
que asi trabajamos muy duro este trae el éxito. Este semana yo aprendí que no
es exactamente asi. Nuestro obediencia, y la trabajo que hacemos es una ofrenda
de nuestro fe al Señor. Y en regreso el nos bendice con exito. Este semana
hemos experimentado esto. Este semana 11 investigadores estaba en la capilla!
Yo se que el Señor nos bendijo con personas muy preparadas y que es el que hace
las milagros solo necesitamos ejercer nuestro fe en el para recibir las
bendiciones. Me encanta la mision yo solo espero que yo puedo llegar a ser el
misionero que el senor necesita.

.....Gracias por todo su esfuerzo Presidente esta semana
ha sido tan buena, la verdad estoy muy animada, hay tanto trabajo por hacer, y
tantas cosas por mejorar, amo leer el Libro de Mormón y todas las escrituras,
sé que el señor cumple su promesa de grabarlas en nuestros corazones, un día
estábamos contactando en combi, y Hna. L me dijo poco antes de contactar ese
hombre se ahí es un pastor de una Iglesia Evangélica, entonces al contactar le
pregunté si quería que pasáramos a su casa a compartir más de nuestro mensaje,
entonces él dijo no estoy de acuerdo que ustedes no leen la biblia y sólo creen
en el libro de Mormón, entonces le dije que creíamos que la biblia era la
palabra de Dios al igual que el libro de Mormón, entonces le dije, yo leo ambos
cada día, y él dijo a ver dime un versículo ? y le dije De tal manera... y dijo
otro ... Nosotros somos el barro y tú nuestro alfarero obra de tus manos
somos... entonces él solo se quedo pensando, y dijo si es cierto, entonces fue
ahí cuando le dije "No puede decir que el Libro de Mormón no es verdadero
hasta que lo lea y le pregunte a Dios si es verdadero" y lo comprometí a
leerlo y aceptó y dijo lo voy a leer y quiero escuchar más de su mensaje, de
usted si puedo creer...
y seguimos platicando pero sentí como el Espíritu
Testificaba al decirle a ese hombre que venciera su barrera de la ignorancia al
decir que El libro de Mormón era falso cuando ni si quiera lo había leído.
Gracias Querido Padre y Presidente por enseñarnos a ser
misioneros directos y claros, por ayudarnos a enseñar la verdad con poder y
autoridad.

It is really really hard to determine every week what to
write about. what experiences I had, and what i learned. But this week I was
especially touched by the prayers of others. I feel like i learned so much
about the people and about their needs just by listening to their sweet, simple
prayers. During my mission I have been touched by many many different prayers
but two prayers this week stood out. One was given by a 17 boy whose prayer was
so so sincere. He prayer individually for every person he knew- for us, for his
amigos, for everyone but with a blessing very specific for every person. I dont
know why but i was just so touched by this sincere love for others and thought
in my head if I pray for everyone I know and if my prayers are in reality,
sincere. The other prayer was given my a 6 year old girl whose dad is
investigating the church and her mom is friendly but doesnt want anything to do
with the lessons. But last night we invited the nina to give the final prayer
and for her dad to teach her how, the spirit was there and I felt the love of
our Savior so so strong to watch this father teach his daughter how to pray and
after listen to this tender little prayer she gave for her familia. The final
experience Ill share was with a member. She is una abuelita, about 70* years
old but she joined us for a couple hours to visit some of her references. We
gave the harvesting blessings lesson and her referencia agreed to prepare for
baptism. For us it was a new investigator, with grand potential, but for Hna Arrondondo
it was an answer to her prayers. She shared with us that she was praying the
whole time during the lesson that her neighbor would accept the gospel and go
to church with her. I think that many times we miss these small moments of
learning, learning to show a bit more gratitude for the blessings we have and
learning to recognize the small answers to our prayers. I am so incredibly
grateful for the things I have learned so far and am so so excited to learn
more.

Hello Dear President,
This week I want to share an experience with you! My
companion and I were walking in the street trying to find people because all
our appointments fell when suddenly a car stop in front of us and the woman
inside asked how much do you charge for teaching us? So we introduce ourselves as
missionaries, and they are Maria Elena, Pamela and Ana karen, we went to
their house and we taught them, they accept a baptism date, they accept the book of Mormon, and they said I know that this book is true is something logic that our
Heavenly Father give the gospel in the Americas, They are reading the Book Of
Mormon every day, they received an answer very quickly! they attended the church
and they are progressing very good! I know that the Lord are blessing us
finding people this cycle will be great here in our area! I love to be a
missionary and be a tool in the Lord´s hand!

¡Hola Presidente!
Esta Semana vemos milagros. Realmente, predicando
arrepentimiento y planchando personas hecho milagros aquí en Progreso.
La experiencia que quiero compartir por esta semana
oc-curio en semana con una pareja que tiene 4 anos a conocen la iglesia y son
bautizados pero fueron inactivos por casi tres anos. Hemos enseñándoles por 4
meses pero no vemos progreso con ellos. Finalmente fui un poco enojado y
tuvimos una lección con los dos sobre arrepentimiento y dicho a ellos que
'ustedes son pecadores, necesitan arrepentirse, y necesitan asistir a la
capilla mañana.´ Y wow!!!! Cuando somos directas, y mencionamos sus pecados,
ellos cambiado. Ellos estuvieron a la capilla con sus hija que tiene 8 anos, y
ellos nos han dicho que solo podrían asistir por 1 hora, pero cuando fueron, ellos
les gustan mucho! Y fueron por los 3 horas en total :) Ellos fueron en la
capilla por la primer ves en casi 3 anos!! Estamos muy felices para ellos, y
dejamos una foto del templo con ellos y decimos que les queremos en el templo
esta ano como una familia. Y ayer tuvimos un otro lección con ellos en la
noche, y ellos han dicho que van a cambiar sus hábitos y realmente quieran a
cambiar :) Y ellos van a darnos comida en Jueves! Entonces, estoy muy feliz
para ellos y su familia.
También, con ellos, compartimos una escritura en Alma que
acaba yo lee, que dice que 'hoy es el día por vuestro salvación' y esta nos
ayuda mucho con ellos.

nosotros, estamos muy agradecidas! Tenga bonita semana, usted y Hermana Egbert

Hola Presidente!
.....El lunes de hace 8 días un familiar me escribió un
correo y entre muchas cosas me escribió: Trabaja más! y cuando lo leí me hizo
meditar mucho en ese consejo y ore ese día para recibir inspiración sobre como
trabajar más arduamente, al día siguiente por la mañana durante mis estudios
leí su carta y recibí mucha revelación para trabajar mejor, algo que me impactó
fue cuando leí la frase: "no hay nada más común que gente talentosa sin
éxito" y pensé que mi Padre Celestial me ha dado dones especiales y
talentos que me pueden ayudar muchísimo a trabajar arduamente en esta
maravillosa obra! La verdad el espíritu me testifico de esa carta y por
supuesto que No quiero vivir por debajo de mi potencial, entonces esta semana
nos pusimos a trabajar más arduamente, personalmente al enseñar pude sentir que
mis palabras tenían como un peso más grande una profundidad mayor al contactar
a las personas fue más difícil que nos rechazarán, encontramos muchas nuevas
personas para enseñar y además fue más fácil discernir por el Espíritu a las
personas que realmente van a progresar....

Querido presidente!!
Soy tan feliz!!! Soy tan feliz de poder estar en esta
gran obra, sirviendo a Dios y Cristo!! He podido ver grandes milagros en las
vidas de nuestros investigadores! un dia de esta semana estabamos visitando a
uno de nuestros investigadores que fuma mucho, el se llama Javier y es muy
bueno, pero siempre nos dice que no puede dejar de fumar, pero en esta ocasion
estabamos verificando sus compromisos y le pregunte y hermanito Javier como va
con su lectura del libro de Mormon, y nos dijo -bien bien misioneras, fijense
que hace rato estaba un poco desesperado por que mi hijo no llegaba y anda de
vago nomas asi que me fui a comprar un cigarro para tranquilizarme un poco y
estaba yo con mi cigarro y vi el libro, y comence a leerlo y no iba ni a la
mitad del cigarro cuando de repente me comenzo a dar asco, no podia fumar,
simplemente no podia asi que lo tire y segui leyendo, y capte cosas que antes
no habia captado, entendi con mucha mas claridad el mensaje que quiere
transmitirnos Nefi- En ese momento fui tan feliz!! Hermana M y yo habiamos
estado orando mucho para que hermano Javier dejara de fumar y pues esa fue una
respuesta a nuestras oraciones bien clara, hermano Javier dijo que en vez de
fumar cuando se sienta deseperado va a comenzar a leer el libro de mormon!!....

.....this week we had a really amazing experience with a
family that lives right near the chapel, but is less active. We had never
visited them before, but someone told us there was a.... "niño
magico" there, so we had been planning to visit soon. Well, one night this
week we were on our way to visit someone else but we felt that we should stop
and visit them for the first time. And it was so special to be able to be on
the Lord's errand with this family.... We sang a hymn and had a prayer, and
then I asked what they would ask God if He were here in this moment? The 8 year
old said, "What is God's Plan?" The grandma said she would just thank
Him for everything, someone else said why is there maldad in the world... The
Spirit was there... and then a young man and his wife (non-member) told us that
they had just lost a baby a week ago.... and it was so clear that their sorrow
and grief was profound, as well as their love for each other and their baby. We
were able to testify of the plan of salvation and eternal families. I could
feel so much love for those people, so much of the love of God for them, and I
know it wasn't an accident that we chose that night to visit them instead of
our other plans. The Spirit was so potent and I really felt that we were able
to help them, and that we can offer them so much peace that they need right now
in this difficult time.... We ended by singing "Abide with Me" and we
walked out feeling so... I don't know... honored/blessed to be able to have
this calling and testify of God's Plan and bring hope to His children....

Thursday New Missionary/Trainer Orientation

The 5 trainers had just finished their own training in the mission, completing their own 12 week program.
First time ever that all the trainers were new themselves; but President has the utmost confidence in their ability.
