Mission President Training Seminar at the Provo
Utah MTC
June 22-27 2013
Our three
daughters Tia Marie, Taysia Kai, and Tahlia Mae delivered us to the MTC and
stayed for our setting apart by Elder L. Tom Perry of the Quorum of the Twelve
and
Elder
Zwick of the First Quorum of the Seventy.
What a
beautiful experience.
MTC Training
We received the most amazing training from:
- President Thomas S Monson
- Quorum of the Twelve (Entire)
- First Quorum of the Seventy
- Presiding Bishopric
- MTC staff
“You may sometimes be tempted
to say, ‘Will my influence make any difference? I am just one. Will my service
affect the work that dramatically?’ I testify to you that it will. You will
never be able to measure your influence for good.”
—President
Thomas S. Monson
Our spiritual "bucket"
has been filled to capacity and we feel privileged and blessed to have such
training and association with witnesses of The Lord Jesus Christ. The MTC has
treated us with such love and kindness- making great effort to meet any need
(including retrieving, having fixed and returning before noon Andy's destroyed
glasses) and feeding us like Kings!

In front of our missionary board outlining who and where
they are located.
The handing over of the new phone and keys
makes this new mission officially open for business.
It was so heartfelt and thoughtful- we were truly
touched.
Congratulations on your new calling. Thank you so much for sharing this blog! As a parent it is fun to see the new changes and leadership for our missionary. I know Elder Beesley is looking forward to meeting you today. Thank you for serving and loving our missionaries while they are away from home.

WoW! I was in the Mexico City East mission from 1988-1990. Pachuca was part of our mission, along with Tulancingo, Huauchinango, and Tula. The Lord's work has truly been hastened. Congratulations on a new mission.
