"After all that has been said, the greatest and most important duty is to preach the Gospel."

"I have often said one of the greatest secrets of missionary work is work! If a missionary works, he will get the Spirit; if he gets the Spirit, he will teach by the Spirit; and if he teaches by the Spirit, he will touch the hearts of the people and he will be happy. There will be no homesickness, no worrying about families, for all time and talents and interests are centered on the work of the ministry. Work, work, work- there is no satisfactory substitute, especially in missionary work."

-President Ezra Taft Benson

MONDAYS OFFICE VISITS with lots of SMILES

We so didn't just buy a big box of them!

"Humility is willingness to submit to the will of the Lord...It includes gratitude for His blessings and acknowledgment of our constant need for His divine help. Humility is not a sign of weakness; it is a sign of spiritual strength..."

"The only way to have a friend is to be one."

- Ralph Waldo Emerson

A little "Arizona" in good ol' Mexico!

....So this week has been pretty good. We found a lot of new investigatores by knocking on inspired doors. So that part was really good... Now we just need to teach them the about the Sabbath Day. So they can get baptized. I just have one really quick story about one of our new investigatores. Hna ____ and I didn´t have appointments in the morning so we made plans to visit one of our investogatores. After the lesson we were on our bikes in route for our next plan and I had a really strong feeling that we needed to go to one part of area that is kind of far away, and we only have two investigatores there but we went.. and we rode our bikes through the town not knowing where we needed to stop... So we are on this one street and Hna _____ was like this house... OKAY! so we said ¨buenas tardes¨and introduced our selves to the lady and asked if we could share a message with her. She told us that she was really busy with washing clothes so we offered to do it for her.. and she accepted so we helped her with her laundry and then we shared a message. When we were talking about the Book of Mormon I asked her if she has seen it before and she goes on to tell us that she has read it... ALL OF IT! her boss gave it to her, so she read it and she really likes it! So we are going to keep teaching her and she wants us to teach her family. It was a really neat experience!.....

Zone Leaders for Valle De Mezquital

Elder Stephens and Elder Contreras

Their house looked great and they sent back with me things that had been collecting from past missionaries. We sure appreciate and recognize all the missionaries that take interest in caring for their homes. They are church property and thus we expect Zone Leaders to lead by example. Nice job Elders!

Elder Pass and Elder Rodriquez in Tezontepec

This is the first time I have been to this house- it is spacious and very well kept by the Elders. They have a large open lot in the front of their house that is closed off. Elder Pass loves all the room- "I can exercise in here with no problem!"

Our always energetic "sister leader trainers" Hermana Garcia and Hermana DeFranco in Progreso with their cute little house...

The Mexico Pachuca Mission has the most handsome, strongest and kindest spirits in the entire WORLD!

Loving our missionaries...Presidents' favorite time is interview month!

Our amazing Zone Leaders Elder Clark and Elder Smart showing off their house during the home tour... This house is unique in that the owners left a lot of personal things in the house. The Elders have been so careful to cover and store things in a spare bedroom so nothing gets damaged or misplaced. Thank you for your efforts in keeping things clean and organized. Their couches are the most comfortable things I have ever sat on- President totally agrees. I also got a text from them today (Sunday) that the ward provided them with bikes which will help them so much. Thank you Bishop.

These leaders showed us their house and then hit the streets to go to work! Love their work ethic and focus... check out that stride of Elder Smarts'.

NO EFFORT IS EVER WASTED

"When people choose not to investigate the restored gospel, your work is not wasted. Your consistent efforts in serving and teaching as many people as you can is one way God prepares His children to eventually receive His servants. He often reaches out to His children through you. Even when people do not accept the opportunity to learn the gospel, your service and words are evidence of God's love for them and may plant seeds that future missionaries and members of the Church will harvest."
