......(Este semana una experiencia en ingles)

Well yesterday we were walking to a visit that we had and we passed by this lady and her daughter trying to get a weed wacker started, but they were having a pretty hard time with it. So i smiled and offered my help to get it started and to whip their grass, and she just smile and told us that she would love that. So i got the whipper going and i started to whip up their grass. (if your wondering if i was in my dress clothes..... that would be a yes.) hahah i didn´t have time to go home and get changed so i just got´er done their and then. But we whipped the grass up really good and while all of this was happening she went ahead and said, ¨Why are you guys doing this?¨ and i just said, well Sister we are Representatives of Jesus Christ and its something that we do. We serve our fellowmen. She was just amazed by that and started to tell me that she had been trying to get that weed whacker started for sometime and everyone was passing by and they just didn´t seem to care that she was struggling, So she told her daughter,¨If Leonel was still here ( Her son that passed away about 6 years ago) we wouldn´t be here struggling with this thing.¨ And in that moment my companion and I showed up and we offered help and she was just amazed, looked up to heaven and gave thanks that we had showed up. After getting the weed whacker started and everything working right we finished and we asked if we could share a short message with her. so we all sat down on the stairs and said a prayer, we started to teach about an eternal family and how we can obtain it, And then leaded into the restoration of the Gospel. She is very excited about the message and we are returning back to teach her on Monday. The Lord guided us to Elizabeth- she is going to make a great member of the Church.

Se que el Señor nos guia si estamos haciendo nuestro parte a escuchar la voz del Espiritu, Amo al Salvador y por la oportunidad que nos da servirle.....Gracias Presidente por todo que hace por nosotros.

You know those little acts of service that can make a person's day?

Yep, I stopped by to pick up something from a missionaries house and they were gone but left these on the counter for me as a surprise!

Ahhhh.... we seriously have the best missionaries in the WORLD!

......We had a very good experience this week. We were walking in the street and talking with one member while we were contacting. The member is a young men that he is preparing to go a mission and he is saying about the missionaries that taught him. When we knocked the door of one house and the women that receive us, she said me "I know you, you were here six years ago". I started to talk with she and she allows us to enter his house. I was trying to understand why she said that she know me, but while she was talking the member that to be with us, he was able to understand that she was talking about other Elder, and when he said the name of this Elder, she could recognize that I was like the Elder but I was not the Elder who she knew. But the most interesting part of this is that the brother who was accompanying us was baptized by the Elder that she knew. We were in the house of a family who years ago had been taught by the same Elder who baptized the brother who was with us. He can be a great "Hermanador" for this family. We are so happy and excited to work here!...

....cuando la reunión sacramental empezó un hombre entraba la capilla y dijo que estaba buscando por Dios y la verdad. En pocos palabras después las reuniones el nos pregunto sobre el Libro de Mormon y después acepto un fecha bautismal inmediatamente.

Gane un testimonio en este momento que solo necesitamos hacer todo que podemos y Dios nos bendecirá. Mi compañero es bien bueno y le gusta trabajar duro. Le amo muchísimo y el es un misionero maravilloso.

......I tell you that this week was of great successes, we found many people who had the desire to listen to each other, to a man named Margarito, he collected stones on the way to accommodate your fence to protect your plants, we decided to help, accepted the help, and clear the stones weigh a bit, but we're stronger we haha, after help and talk about the gospel, he accepted that we shared something, and we did, agreed to be baptized, and went to church on Sunday, to visit him in the afternoon, we made a question: brother why you want to keep listening? To which he replied, "I want to know the truth," I have walked in many churches, but I want to know where the true church is, we help to reach the truth by leaving some compromises. his answer surprised me a lot, and we will give much follow him, what surprised me was that we had not gone through the neighborhood where he lives, but the Lord guided us and showed us where their children were, I remembered the words of President Ucthdorf: the shepherd knows where his sheep are, just ask and get to work to find them.

- Review of specific "list of blessings" Items

- De-worming medication handed out for each missionary

- New Carbon Dioxide/Smoke Detectors handed out and the process of monthly checks and reporting such.

Hermana Egbert: "Being a leader means becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable" and "Consistency"

Lunch included:

- Sloppy Joe's

- Jello Salad

-Green Salad

- Pasta Salad

- Potato Chips

- Brownies/Ice-cream

-Cran-Raspberry Juice/7-Up

They so didn't wait for the "Chief cook and bottle washer"...

.....El día de ayer la pta de sociedad de socorro nos pidió ayuda con la clase a nosotras después del sacramental porque tenia que salir por una emergencia y atendimos su petición con gusto, hay algunas divisiones entre las hermanas y casi no hacen sus visitas, entonces invitamos a todas a sentarse al frente de la clase y fue muy especial el poder compartir ese mensaje con ellas el titulo de la clase fue: llevar el evangelio a todo el mundo y en verdad pudimos sentir al espíritu fuertemente en todo el salón había un amor diferente y especial varias hermanas tenían lagrimas en sus rostros también en el mío y el de mi compañera la lección fue dada por el espíritu y al final de los servicios algunas se acercaron a nosotras para agendar cita y acompañarnos en verdad eso me hizo sentir muy agradecida, la misión es maravillosa esta obra es verdadera y cambia nuestras vidas es la obra de Salvación!

Que gozo poder trabajar en ella en estos últimos días!

.......durante esta semana encontramos a un joven que se llama Juan, nosotros nos dirigiamos hacia otro lugar y el espiritu nos indico vallan con el, en mi mente fue... pero es un joven? y la impresion llego de nuevo BALLAN CON EL, Elder J y yo fuimos el estaba jugando en las canchas basquetbol empezamos a preguntar hacerca de su familia y de el, el nos dijo tuve unos problemas con drogas y ahora estoy buscando a Dios, me sorprendio eso, nos dijo que tenia a sus hnas mama y papa, inmediatamente salieron de mi boca usted sera bautizado por alguien que tiene la autoridad de Dios? y el dijo si... mi compañero dijo el 14 de mayo estamos preparando un servicio bautismal se preparara para esa fecha? el dijo si. Testificamos y prometimos el dijo se que Dios los mando a mi, agendamos una cita y el hemocionado dijo que si. Al visitarle en su casa se acerco su hna guadalupe, en otras visitas se acerco su mama y su otra hna, enserio me quede sorprendido como de un joven pudimos enseñar a una familia. Les invitamos a la iglesia y ellos aceptaron tienen fecha bautismal, aun no conociamos a su papa... Estabamos arreglando todo para el Domingo llamamos a unos hnos que pasarian por ellos y nos dijieron que si, al estar la fam. Roldan afuera de su casa les dijo que el iria con su papa en su coche, inmediatamente el hno Roldan nos marco y nos dijo lo que paso. Nuestro animo fue de NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! regularmente cuando dicen eso es que no les veremos en la capilla, pero dijimos tengamos FE, estuvimos en la capilla todo hiba mas o menos y de repente nos llamo un numero desconocido y salimos y eran ellos, wow Presidente al verles llegar como familia fue algo sorprendente algo que me ayudo a saber que siempre debemos de orar en nuestra mente y nuestro corazon sin dudar. Esa es una de mis experiencias mas bonitas que me pasaron esta semana, Estoy aprendiendo a amar a mi compañero porque se que necesito de el, nos hemos perdido unas cuantas veces pero todo ba muy bien en esta area y esta zona, Una hna, que se ba a bautizar este sabado que se llama Edsna tiene un gran deseo y su testimonio y sinceridad no estan enfocados en cosas temporales si no cosas Eternas, ella y su amiga gloria (que tiene 3 meses de averse bautizado) nos dieron una charla de 2 nefi 2 :) son fantasticas, su deseo de servir y ayudar se esta enfocando en una mision. Le amo mucho presidente gracias por enseñarme esos buenos principios desde que llegue aqui, las peores batallas se luchan de rodillas.

....hay una hermana que sinceramente sentimos que necesitaba escuchar la Palabra de Sabiduría específicamente de nosotros. Sus dos hijos son conversos de unos años, pero ella nunca se bautizó porque le encanta el café. Sentimos la impresión de enseñarla de nuevo la Palabra de Sabiduría aunque estábamos seguros de que la había escuchado miles de veces. La enseñamos muy claramente las bendiciones y consecuencias por cumplir o no con la Palabra de Sabiduría, y la invitamos a vivirla. Pensaba sinceramente que iba a decir que no, pero después de un momento de silencio, nos miró y dijo, "sí, la voy a vivir para recibir esas bendiciones." Obviamente vamos a dar mucho seguimiento con ella en este próximo mes, pero estamos bien felices por ella y su deseo de dejar el café para estar unida con sus hijos. Esta obra es maravillosa, y esta iglesia es dirigida por nuestro Señor Jesucristo. No hay nada mejor....
